June 23rd- Day 3 Plein Air sketching with some surprises...

The day started with some unusual sketching exercises, an upside down horse, upside down Stravinsky

We talked about, journaling, keeping a sketch book, a travel journal, with samples of various original travel journals... and headed off to Lake Calhoun on a little road trip,
setteled down and started to draw, but surprised by the rain had to take refuge in Talin's House! So instead of the boats and the ducks the kids sketched various objects/people/plants in the house, and the results are beautiful, same samples below.

Blooming Orchids,

Nina's Bass,

the plant stand I just got in Stillwater,

the water for watercolor,

drawing each other or the Ferris Wheel in my window,

Tomorrow is our wire sculpture day with Thea and Nina (special guests and specialists in the matter).
Parents, please come by around 11.45 for some French Madeleines just out from the oven and see more of the beautiful art work.
